2. Preparation before the trip
a. Bring enough garbage bags. ( Waste you make = waste you take)
b. Bring containers to hold liquid waste

3. Disposing of human and animal waste where sanitary facilities are not provided
a. Bag solids; return to boat and dispose of properly
b. Containerize liquid wastes; return them to boat and dispose of properly
   
  Unacceptable practices: disposal in water; burying in soil or under rocks; abandoning in place.

4. Good Practice for Partying or Camping, Fires
a. For fires (if allowed), use driftwood or wood you bring.
b. Burn in established fire pits.
c. Allow to burn completely; crush pieces so everything burns to ash; all pieces cold to the touch before you depart.

5. Good Practice for Partying or Camping, Other
a. Choose a previously used site instead of creating a new one. If you must create a new one keep at least 50' away from fresh water sources.
b. Consider drainage in selecting a spot instead of digging trenches
c. If there are walking trails, use them
d. Leave the site in better condition than when you arrived.
   
  Unacceptable practices: cutting or removing live plants or trees; creating a new campsite where existing sites exist; trespassing.
