Many boaters dream of the day they’ll endlessly cruise the coast, with no timetable or cares on shore. That’s a great dream, but between now and then many of us have to settle for a few precious days here and there - or even a few hours on a single day.
The Casco Bay Traveler series of articles hopes to help you make the most of your float time. Each will outline a hypothetical one, two or three days activity. Each will have a theme: for example historical, wildlife, exploration, privacy, etc. The idea is to provide you a ready-made outline of stops and activities that are enjoyable and make sense in the time available. For boaters who need launch ramp facilities, we’ll address that as well. And we may include related onshore activities that fit with the theme.
