The John Williams Boat Company near Hall Quarry, Mount Desert island creates traditional Maine lobster-style boats using modern construction techniques. Their standard lines range from 28 to 44 feet in length. Every boat is custom built.

They also can build wooden boats and sailboats on special request.

Although their primary focus is boat construction, they also provide a full-service boat yard for boat repairs and restoration. Their brokerage sells boats of their making and others.
